NUM Women's Structure concerned on the death of Thembisile Yende at Eskom
The National Union of Mineworkers Women's Structure is shocked with a deep sense of concern on the gruesome death of Thembisile Yende, whose lifeless body was found in her office at an ESKOM  Sub Station in Springs east of Johannesburg. This suspicious discovery happens after two weeks of her disappearance in her workplace, while there were reported numerous searches conducted by the employer throughout her period of disappearance.

NUM Central Committee gathering to be held at Saint George Hotel in Pretoria
The Central Committee (CC) of the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), the biggest decision-making body of the organisation outside congress will meet on the 8th to 9th  June 2017 at the Saint George Hotel in Pretoria. The CC rally will be held on the 10th of June 2017 in Rustenburg. Over 700 delegates from the branches of the NUM throughout South Africa will attend.

The National Union of Mineworkers was founded in 1982.

Its birth was facilitated by comrades Cyril Ramaphosa who rose to be its first General Secretary, James Motlatsi who turned to be its first President, and Elijah Barayi who became its Vice President and later the President of Cosatu in 1985 when the federation was formed. porn
