The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) will hold the first annual memorial lecture in honour of the late Nkosiphendule Kolisile. Kolisile is a former NUM shop steward and MEC for Economic Development in Gauteng. He died in a tragic car accident in 2013. Comrade Kolisile played a pivotal role in the establishment of NUM structures as well as the integration of these structures with the broader tripartite alliance structures.
